Mined Music is back with a new studio release titled “Feel Like You‘re Home,” also featuring the talented Vas Angelov. The latter is a Bulgarian rapper with a truly distinctive sound, and his style fits Mined Music’s production to absolute perfection, lending the track a very spontaneous and original vibe. The sound of this incredibly well-crafted piece of music is direct and energetic, yet the sounds have subtlety and atmosphere, allowing the music to acquire a deeper dimension. Unlike many rap- centric productions, Mined Music went for a very live-centric approach, meaning that he included many cool live instruments into the arrangement, giving the track a more organic flow. Listeners will be able to hear actual drums, electric bass, guitar, horns, violins and even a very special operatic singer in the soprano range! The rapper is actually based in Switzerland and he is a natural-born storyteller, with the ability to create some awesome lyrics that feel genuine and spontaneous. The lyrics have a very self-affirming tone, and they are very inspiring, a reminder that even in dark times when we feel depressed, we can always aim higher and look at brighter days ahead.

Not only is this a fantastic way to bring some more groove to the music, but it is also an amazing opportunity to add some truly cinematic soundscapes via the score-like classical sounds that provide some excellent ambiance. This is a very diverse and sophisticated production, but it is far from being pretentious. On the contrary, it is very immediate and easy to relate to for listeners of all walks of life.

This new studio effort represents a turning point of sorts for Mined Music, who is eager to keep showing his commitment to quality music and create songs that set the bar higher in terms of quality production and songwriting artistry overall. “Feel Like You‘re Home” is catchy, but it is not banal: it is a quality musical work with artistic integrity, and it blurs the lines between mass appeal and musicianship, showing that hooky music can also have integrity and it can bring some interesting ideas to the music scene without falling into the usual cliches. Mined Music is a master at creating personable and unique sounds, and “Feel Like You‘re Home” paints a truly vibrant portrait of his skills as a songwriter and music maker alike.
